Scuba Knit Fabric - Overview

Scuba is the fashion variety of the well-known Neoprene material (also known as Chloroprene rubber). It's a double knit fabric that is normally polyester, which has been mixed with Lycra or Spandex. It has a very smooth texture and a fine gauge thread. ScAnother variety, known as Scuba Crepe, is similar to Scuba fabric but has a more textured face. It is somewhat similar to Lycra and has a crepe texture.

Knitting Process of Scuba Fabric

Double-Knit Structure

Scuba fabric is created by knitting two layers of fabric together with a layer of foam in between.

Foam Insertion

The foam layer is introduced between the two layers of fabric during the knitting process.

Knitting

The layers of fabric and foam are knit together using a specialized machine that accommodates the double-knit technique.

Finished Fabric

Once the knitting is complete, the fabric is removed from the machine and may undergo additional processes such as dyeing, finishing, or cutting to create the final product.

After agreeing the quotation, Our designers will make samples for you in the shortest time, after the samples are finished, we can send them to our customers by post for testing, or provide you some pictures for your reference.

Mass Production & QC

Once the samples are finalized, the design will be forwarded to our factory to start mass production. Our dedicated quality control team monitors every step of the process to ensure that every product meets our standards before it leaves the factory.

Delivery

Once the order has been manufactured, we will arrange for delivery of the product to the customer, thus completing the process.
