Interlock Knit Fabric - Overview
Interlock fabric is created by knitting two fabrics together. Usually, cotton, wool, spandex, and polyester are used. The interlocking of the two fabrics makes it reversible. Both sides of the fabric were also smooth. It is a type of double-knit fabric that is thicker and more absorbent than regular knit fabric.

Craftsmanship of Interlock Knit Fabric
Polyester, wool, bamboo, rayon, silk, and cotton these materials compose the interlock fabric. In some cases, this fabric comes in 100% polyester. This fabric involves blended cotton wool and chemical fibers. There is the use of blended cotton wool and chlorine cotton. The blend comes in dimension and chlorine cotton. Chemical fiber fabrics require these materials. There are 3 types of cotton wool- acrylic, polyester, and spandex.The interlock is a thick fabric. It consists of two rib structures.
Interlock is also popularly known as having a double jersey structure. It goes through the production of a cylinder. Besides, it goes through the cylinder and dial-shaped circular weft knitting machine. The rib structure is interlocked with two 1X1 ribs. The fabric has a face wale of 1 and is directly in the reverse wale of 2. It is near to the woven structure where cutting and sewing operations are easier.
Interlock fabric goes through a needlework- Stainless steel needles. These needles cross each other and work alternatively. The production of interlock fabric creates a fabric with double knit. It makes the fabric soft. Each side of the fabric is the same color and patterned.
Brushing: Cotton-made interlock fabric goes through a brushing process by the manufacturers. Manufacturers brush the inner part to make the fabric warm and comfortable. Creating warm cotton is possible only by this technique. The brushing technique does not apply to the woolen fibers. This is because the wool has an intrinsic characteristic.
Ironing: Interlock fabric can be a stable option if it is correctly going through iron. Knitting tensions go through the process of ironing. Ironing is possible with steam. The fabric also passes through two hot metal cylinders.
Customization process
Design Confirmation and Quotation：Our process begins when a customer sends us specific product details such as the specifications and dimensions of the product they want. We will provide a quote for the entire process according to customer requirements.
Sample Making: After agreeing the quotation, Our designers will make samples for you in the shortest time, after the samples are finished, we can send them to our customers by post for testing, or provide you some pictures for your reference.
Mass Production & QC: Once the samples are finalized, the design will be forwarded to our factory to start mass production. Our dedicated quality control team monitors every step of the process to ensure that every product meets our standards before it leaves the factory.
Delivery: Once the order has been manufactured, we will arrange for delivery of the product to the customer, thus completing the process.
