President Cao Jiachang Went To Germany To Investigate The Frankfurt Heimtextil

From 7th to 13th January 2024, President Cao Jiachang and his marketing department went to Germany to investigate the Frankfurt Heimtextil. There are more than 800 Chinese enterprises participating in this exhibition, which is the first time for Chinese home textile industry to resume participation in Frankfurt Heimtextil on a large scale after the epidemic. Through a large number of visits to exhibitors, as well as talks with Messe Frankfurt, I will grasp the latest procurement needs and development trend of European home textile in a timely manner, laying a foundation for the Chamber to help guide member enterprises to develop the European market in the next step.
In the afternoon of 9th January, President Cao Jiachang, together with the Marketing Department and some exhibitors, paid a visit to the Consulate General of China in Frankfurt, and held talks with Consul General Huang Xiayang and Commercial Counsellor Chen Yan. After listening to the latest data and situation analysis of China's textile and garment export, Consul General Huang declining sunshine introduced the latest situation of China-Germany economic and trade development, and hoped that the Chamber could guide its member enterprises to actively explore the German market, strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between China and Germany in the field of textile and garment trade, and further enhance the influence of Made-in-China and Chinese brands in the German market.
In the afternoon of 11th January, President Cao attended the promotion meeting of Vietnam International Clothing, Textile and Textile Technology Expo (VITEX) held by Messe Frankfurt on behalf of the Chamber and delivered a speech as the supporting unit of the exhibition. President Cao said that the Chamber has always attached importance to the business co-operation with Messe Frankfurt and hoped to rely on the brand-new Vietnam Expo platform to serve the global textile and apparel supply chain including the textile and apparel foreign trade industries in China and Vietnam, and contribute to the stability and prosperity of the related industries.
In the afternoon of 11 January, President Cao also visited the booth of strategic partner Tristar Switzerland at the Home Textile Show in Frankfurt. President Cao affirmed that the OEKO-TEX certification service provided by Tristar has played a positive role in enhancing the market competitiveness of China's textile and apparel foreign trade industry, and hoped that the two sides would continue to strengthen their cooperation, so that global buyers and consumers would understand and recognise the positive achievements of China's textile and apparel foreign trade industry in the field of green and sustainable development.
