Weft knitted fabrics are often made of low-elastic polyester yarn or special-shaped polyester yarn, nylon yarn, cotton yarn, wool yarn, etc., and adopt plain stitch, changed plain stitch, ribbed plain stitch, double rib plain stitch, jacquard stitch, wool Loop tissue, etc., are knitted on various weft knitting machines. It has many varieties and generally has good elasticity and extensibility. The fabric is soft, strong and wrinkle-resistant, has a strong wool texture, and is easy to wash and dry quickly. However, its hygroscopicity is poor, the fabric is not stiff enough, and it is easy to fall apart and curl. Chemical fiber fabrics are easy to fluff, pill, and snag. There are mainly the following varieties:
1. Polyester yarn-dyed knitted fabric: The fabric has bright color, beautiful appearance, harmonious color matching, tight and thick texture, clear texture, strong wool texture, and has a style similar to woolen tweed. Mainly used as men's and women's tops, suits, windbreakers, vests, skirts, cotton-padded jacket fabrics, children's clothing, etc.;
2. Polyester knitted labor fabric: This kind of fabric is tight and thick, strong and wear-resistant, crisp and elastic. If the raw material is core-spun yarn containing spandex, it can be woven into stretch knitted denim with better elasticity. Trousers mainly used as tops for men and women;
3. Polyester knitted wick strip fabric: The fabric has distinct concavities and convexities, a thick and plump feel, and good elasticity and warmth retention. Mainly used for men's and women's tops, suits, windbreakers, children's clothing and other fabrics;
4. Polyester-cotton knitted fabric: This fabric is dyed and used as shirts, jackets, and sportswear fabrics. The fabric is stiff and wrinkle-resistant, strong and wear-resistant, and the close-fitting side is moisture-absorbent and breathable, soft and comfortable;
5. Artificial fur needle fabric: The fabric feels thick, soft and has good warmth retention. Depending on the variety, it is mainly used for coat fabrics, clothing linings, collars, hats, etc. Artificial fur is also woven using warp knitting methods.
6. Velvet knitted fabric: The fabric feels soft, thick, strong and wear-resistant, with thick and towering pile and soft color. Mainly used as outerwear fabric, collar or hat material, etc. It can also be made with warp knitting, for example: warp knitted terry sheared fabric;
7. Hong Kong-style knitted woolen fabric: It has the smooth, soft and puffy feel of cashmere fabric, and the soft luster, good drape, non-shrinkage and breathability of silk fabric. Mainly used as spring, autumn and winter fashion fabrics.
