Plain fabrics are different from twill fabrics

1. The front and back sides have different appearances
1) The front and back sides of plain fabric have the same appearance effect, with flat surface and monotonous pattern.
2) The front and back sides of twill fabric have different appearances.
2. Different ways of making
1) Twill fabric:
The warp and weft yarns are interlaced at least once every two yarns, and the warp and weft interweaving points are added to change the fabric structure, collectively called twill fabric.
2) Plain weave fabric:
Refers to a fabric woven with a plain weave (warp and weft yarns are interlaced every other yarn).
